Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
• Tailored Instruction: Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that are specifically crafted to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring their success and growth.
• IEP Leadership: Take the lead in IEP meetings, working closely with parents, therapists, and educators to establish, evaluate, and adjust educational goals that drive student achievement.
• Student Progress Monitoring: Utilize advanced digital tools to regularly assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed to optimize learning outcomes.
• Collaborative Teaching: Partner with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers to create a unified, supportive, and inclusive educational environment.
• Family Engagement: Maintain open and ongoing communication with parents and guardians, providing detailed updates on student progress and offering strategies to support learning at home.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a closely related field.
• Certification: Valid Minnesota teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in special education, preferably with experience in remote or virtual instruction.
• Skills: Proficient in using educational technology, strong communication and organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of special education practices.

Work Environment
• Remote Position: Requires a professional home office setup with the necessary technology and reliable internet access to conduct virtual classes and meetings.
