VocoVision is seeking a Special Education Teacher (K-12) for a remote position with a Virginia school district for the 2024/2025 school year. This role involves developing, organizing, and implementing educational programs tailored to support students in reaching their academic potential.
Key Responsibilities…
• Create and manage individualized education plans and instructional programs.
• Regularly evaluate student progress and recommend adjustments to curriculum and accommodations as needed.
• Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers, keeping them updated on student progress.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with the educational team to address and support student needs.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid Teaching Certificate in Virginia is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a school setting.
• Required clearances to work in public or charter schools.
• Early childhood education experience is preferred.
• Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
