Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive curriculum that incorporates developmentally appropriate practices and aligns with early learning benchmarks.
Lead and motivate your teaching team, demonstrating exemplary practices while providing guidance to ensure their continued success.
Create and implement engaging activities, both individually and in groups, that foster social, cognitive, and emotional development among children.
Maintain open communication with parents through informal conversations, progress reports, and conferences, ensuring their involvement in their childs educational journey.
Ensure compliance with all center policies and state regulations to sustain a safe and effective learning environment.
Uphold hygiene standards and promote safety within the classroom, ensuring the well-being of all children.
Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers, confirming adherence to planned activities and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation and records to facilitate smooth classroom management.
Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching quality and personal growth.
Required Skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
High energy and a collaborative mindset, with the capacity to foster a positive team spirit among staff, children, and parents.
Profound understanding of child development principles.
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
CPR and First Aid certification for infants and children (to be obtained within 90 days of employment).
Physical capability to perform tasks such as frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and crawling.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a teaching or childcare setting is preferred.
Successful completion of a full background check and health screening is required.
