Key Responsibilities
Adhere to instructional procedures, processes, and best practices
Maintain necessary teaching certifications for all required states
Grade assessments promptly and provide constructive feedback
Respond to emails and discussion board posts in a timely manner
Schedule and be available for virtual office hour appointments
Help ensure course integrity by reviewing course elements regularly
Perform additional duties as needed by management
Technology Requirements
Device: Must use your own laptop or computer with the following specifications:
Operating System: Windows (7, 8, 8.1, 10 and newer), Macintosh (OS X 10.10 and newer), or most Linux distributions
Hardware: Minimum resolution of 1366×768, at least 2 GB of RAM, and functional audio components for a headset with a microphone
Internet: Broadband connection recommended
Browser: Google Chrome Release Channel
Physical Demands
Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, and reach with arms
May need to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities needed include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
