Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant, or do have previous experience of supporting young people or adults with social, emotional and mental health needs?
We are looking to recruit SEMH Teaching Assistants who can work in both specialist SEMH and SEND provisions, as well as mainstream primary to support pupils with additional needs, in particular those with SEMH or behavioural needs.
This role will allow you to liaise with teachers, educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, play therapists and many other people working within the same field.
SEMH Teaching Assistant Role
• Supportive school located in Southampton
• 1:1, 2:1 and group work with challenging behaviours
• Temp-perm
• Full-time is preferred but part-time applicants may still apply, as job shares can be available
• £83.33-£95 per day depending on your experience
• Experience with Mental Health or SEN

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
