Key Responsibilities
Provide special education services to students ranging from K-12 in various school districts across Oregon.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure student success.
Monitor and report on students’ progress, making adjustments to IEPs as necessary.
Utilize technology effectively to deliver instruction and support to students remotely.
Qualifications
A master’s degree in Special Education is required.
At least 3 years of experience working within school systems is preferred.
Must have obtained a license through the state board of Oregon.
The Oregon Educator Certification is required.
Out-of-state applicants must be licensed and credentialed in both the state of residence and the state of employment.
Technical Requirements
All candidates must pass a tech screening to ensure Wi-Fi, download speeds, and general Zoom capabilities are proficient.
Contract Details
This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
Candidates must obtain general and professional liability insurance.
Compensation varies based on the school district and specific needs.
