We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Lansing, MI. This full-time position involves working with a multidisciplinary caseload of K-8 students with diverse educational needs.
Responsibilities…
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with varying needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and other professionals.
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instruction as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and IEPs.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Certification: Valid Michigan Teaching License with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience: Prior experience with K-8 students in a special education setting is preferred.
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
