Qualifications
• The prekindergarten disabilities endorsement, as described in Rule 6A-4.01792, F.A.C., Specialization Requirements for the Prekindergarten Disabilities Endorsement. This endorsement can be added to primary education, elementary education (K-6), early childhood education, or any ESE Florida educator certificate.
or a valid Florida Teaching Certificate in PKJ education birth through age 4 OR certification in prekindergarten/primary education (age 3 through grade 3)
• Division of Early Learning Approved Florida Developmental Standards course (5 hours)
• Division of Early Learning Approved Emergent Literacy coursework (15 hours)
• Experience working with 3 and 4-year-old children with exceptionalities.
