Position Summary Chemistry and/or physics student tutor must be an undergraduate or graduate science major who demonstrated thorough knowledge of the subject to be tutored and has dedication, and initiative to work with undergraduate students enrolled in chemistry or physics courses. Essential Functions Attend mandatory tutor trainings. Conduct out of classroom tutoring sessions. Maintain regular schedule. Prepare tutoring flyers. Conference with professors. Coordinate appropriate times for tutoring sessions. Identify appropriate tutoring session locations. Complete all tutoring session sign-in documents. Assist students with developing time management and studying skills. Work with students one – on – one or small groups. Conduct independent tutoring sessions reinforcing lessons and assisting with completion of homework and practice assignments. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein Qualifications/Requirements: Highschool diploma or GED is required 0-12… months of experience is required.
