Responsibilities
Deliver tailored one-on-one tutoring sessions in the comfort of the student’s home. We value in-person interaction, so we’re not looking for online tutors at this time.
Utilize the student’s curriculum and real-time assignments to provide effective tutoring sessions.
Simplify complex concepts and foster better study habits and organizational skills.
Support students in improving their academic performance and reaching their learning objectives.
Assist with homework, test preparation, and clarifying course materials.
Monitor student progress closely and adapt teaching strategies as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is a must.
Proficiency in multiple core curriculum subjects for grades K-12 is a bonus.
At least 2 years of experience working with students in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring roles.
Strong communication skills to convey goals and concepts clearly.
Adaptability to cater to different learning styles.
Basic technical skills for documenting student progress and session notes.

We offer a competitive tutor rate of $32/hour for both in-home and online tutoring.
