Responsibilities
• Tutor adult learners virtually: Provide one-on-one academic support via Zoom, weekly for at least three months.
• Focus on literacy skills and Adult Basic Education (ABE).
• Choose your own hours and learners based on your availability.
Qualifications
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Comfortable using Zoom for virtual tutoring (including screen sharing).
• Must have a firm grasp of the English language (native English speakers preferred).
• Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. (proof required).
Education Requirements
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Education Requirements Credential Category
• High School Graduate.
Experience Requirements
• Must be comfortable working with adult learners, including those with disabilities or learning challenges.
• Willing to complete 12 hours of online, self-paced tutor training.
