We have an exciting opportunity for a Virtual Elementary Low Incidence/Life Skills Teacher to join our online network and make a positive impact on the lives of students from the comfort of your own home.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver virtual instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with low incidence disabilities and life skills challenges.
Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students’ specific goals and objectives.
Provide targeted support and instruction in essential life skills such as communication, socialization, and self-care.
Collaborate with parents, support staff, and administrators to monitor and track student progress.
Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate student growth and needs.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and adjustment of educational plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive virtual classroom environment that promotes student engagement and personal development.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Special Education.
Special Education teaching licensure active in Minnesota
Experience working with students with low incidence disabilities and life skills challenges.
Strong virtual teaching and communication skills.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
