We are currently seeking a highly dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our Soliant network of tele professionals to integrate virtual learning to our students with special needs across different school districts in Delaware. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring their unique learning requirements are met. You will also provide differentiated instruction and support tailored to each student’s specific needs.
Collaborate with parents, fellow teachers, and support staff to design effective strategies and interventions.
Adapt instructional materials and methodologies to ensure accessibility and engagement for all students.
Monitor student progress and utilize data to make informed instructional decisions.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes students’ social and emotional well-being.
Stay informed about best practices and advancements in the field of special education.
Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
Proven experience working with students who have diverse learning needs.
In-depth knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Possess patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a meaningful difference in students’ lives.
