The Einstein Program is currently hiring an hourly state-certified Virtual Math Tutor for students in grades 9-12. Our New York City based program thrives on a one-on-one learning environment that empowers students to take control of their studies. Daily contributions are made towards the most successful outcomes for our students who face a variety of challenges.
This position requires tutors to take on 6 students per week with the opportunity for more. Please learn more about our program at www.einsteinprogram.org.
Requirements:
• Must be available on weekdays (after 3pm EST) and weekends
• Build your own schedule
• Experience working with underserved students a must
• Experience with Zoom as all lessons are virtual
• Experience with all Math curriculum in grades 9-12
• Algebra 1 experience a plus!
• Provide motivational and inspirational support
• Math 7-12 Teaching Certification required
• 2-5 years experience preferred
• At least 1-year virtual teaching experience
• A strong belief that all students can succeed
Salary: $25-40 per diem rate
