Location: Annapolis, MD (remote position, no residency required)
Employment Type: Full-time, 1099 Independent Contractor (35-40 hours/week)
We are working with a school district in Maryland who has multiple remote Special Education needs. These positions within the district are diverse, however each position will include the following general Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Create and execute tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Conduct virtual assessments and monitor educational progress
Liaise with general education teachers, parents, and specialized professionals
Deliver customized instruction through online platforms
Maintain comprehensive educational records
Attend virtual staff meetings and pursue ongoing skill enhancement
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Special Education or related field (required)
Active state licensure in Special Education (required)
Mastery of digital learning tools and technologies
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to design engaging online educational content
Adaptability and creative problem-solving abilities
