Our online K-12 academy is seeking a Special Education Teacher to work remotely with gifted and twice-exceptional learners. You’ll provide specialized support to high-ability students who also have learning differences or disabilities.
Key Responsibilities…
• Assess and identify gifted students with learning challenges
• Develop and implement appropriate online IEPs and learning plans
• Provide virtual enrichment and acceleration opportunities
• Collaborate with gifted education specialists and general educators
• Support students in managing asynchronous and self-paced learning
Required Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Special Education, preferably with gifted education focus
• Valid teaching license with special education endorsement
• Experience working with gifted and twice-exceptional learners
• Proficiency in online learning platforms and advanced digital tools
• Strong skills in differentiation and personalized learning approaches
