Procare Therapy is seeking a passionate and experienced Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team and make a difference in the lives of students in Georgia. As a virtual special education teacher, you will provide individualized instruction to students with special needs through an online learning platform. This role requires excellent… communication, organization, and dedication to creating a supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and adaptive instruction to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in a virtual setting.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and instructional plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure students’ academic success and social-emotional development.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods and materials as needed.
• Attend virtual IEP meetings and provide updates on students’ progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and other required documentation.
• Utilize various online tools and technology platforms to deliver lessons and assess student performance.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Licensure: Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for the state of Georgia.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching special education, with virtual teaching experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a virtual environment.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate a wide range of learning needs.

Technical Requirements:
• Reliable high-speed internet connection.
• Comfortable using virtual learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom).
• Familiarity with assistive technology and software used for students with special needs.

Contract Details:
