Position Details:
• School Year: 2024-2025
• Student Range: Kindergarten through 12th grade
• Focus: Working with students who are blind, have low vision, or other visual impairments.
Qualifications:
• Education: Master’s degree in Education for Visually Impaired Students.
• Certification: State Teaching Certification in Visual Education may be required.
• Experience: Prior experience in virtual education is preferred but not essential.
Compensation:
• Hourly wages from $40-$50 based on experience
VocoVision Requirements:
• Insurance: Must have your own liability insurance and be prepared to work as an independent contractor.
• Equipment: Must have a home computer with high-speed internet and pass a basic tech assessment.
