We have a lovely opportunity for an experienced tutor/nanny to teach two children in the Jackson area of Mississippi. Our informal clients live busy entrepreneurial lives and need a hands-on tutor who will engage their two children. The parents would like the tutor to take the children on outings and explore the area and what nature offers wherever they travel. The family is of mixed cultures… and they would like a well-balanced, open-minded, cultured individual who enjoys the county life but can also navigate a busy cosmopolitan city anywhere in the world.

Experienced in Waldorf and teaching based on Muse principles. Encouraging the children to develop their passions and gifts. The ideal tutor will have the same values, be highly organized, manage school calendars, be tech-savvy, and most importantly, get along with the existing staff. Our clients want their children to have a balance of academic learning and an appreciation for nature.
The tutor would ensure that the children’s rooms and closets are maintained and organized, suggesting a way to improve space, advising when to purchase new clothing/shoes, etc. The tutor would also assist with lite kid-friendly meals and snacks.Teach manners and social etiquette.
When required, the tutor may travel with the informal family and assist in packing and unpacking the children. The tutor would ensure that the children’s play areas/learning spaces are neat and have all the necessary learning tech/books/equipment essential to excel.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, tech-savvy, manage the children’s calendars, and have a sense of awareness from a security point when in public with the children. There is no room for egos in this home, must be a team player, and have the ability to communicate clearly, efficiently and respectfully.
Housing stipend and relocation provided
Medical contribution
40-50 hours a week with flexibility
Schedule: Monday through Friday with flexibility
Salary: $85- $105k for highly skilled candidates
Must have a formal education
Must have excellent references – Must have verifiable references
Must pass a detailed criminal and drug test
Must have an excellent driving record
