Our dynamic virtual academy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide remote instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
Primary Duties…
• Create and implement individualized online learning plans
• Deliver engaging virtual lessons using various digital tools
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student success
• Conduct online assessments and data collection
• Provide regular progress updates to parents and guardians
• Adapt curriculum and create accessible digital content
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings and professional development sessions
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Special Education preferred
• Current teaching certification with special education endorsement
• 3+ years of experience teaching students with disabilities
• Familiarity with a range of learning disabilities and intervention strategies
• Strong technology skills and willingness to learn new digital platforms
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to motivate and engage students in a virtual setting
