What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Teach Friday “lab sessions” for the ACCTG 211 course
– Organize, prepare, and deliver course material for 50 minutes each week
– Conduct weekly office hours for student support
– Assist in the development of supporting course materials and resources
– Serve as an integrity monitor during examinations
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Current student enrolled in the Master of Accounting program at Penn State
– Strong understanding of Financial and Managerial Accounting concepts
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
– Ability to explain complex accounting topics clearly
– Availability for up to 10 hours/week during the semester
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Previous teaching or tutoring experience
– Demonstrated expertise in Accounting principles and practices
