What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Develop a Primary Care Behavioral Health model-based program across multiple satellite family medicine practices
– Provide focused assessment and collaborative care in the primary care setting
– Practice collaborative, stepped, and measurement-based care for mental health and behavioral health conditions
– Support primary care teams through decision support and interdisciplinary consultation
– Conduct specialty health psychology assessments to support primary care providers
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Ph.D. or equivalent in Psychology from an APA-accredited program
– Completion of an APA-accredited internship or equivalent training
– Licensed or license-eligible in Virginia
– Skilled in interprofessional practice in an academic medical environment
– Experience in integrated primary care is preferred
