**Overview:** Mountwest Community & Technical College is seeking a 1-year temporary Assistant Professor of English to begin in the Fall 2024 academic term. This is a full-time, 9-month benefits-eligible term, temporary faculty position. **Responsibilities:**

• Collaborate with academic support services
• Support division goals, including advising
• Willingness to teach online, flex, hybrid, or any other type of modality

• *Qualifications:**
• Master’s degree in English or closely related field with 18 hours in graduate level English
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Teaching experience desired, preferably at the community college level and online
• Interest in technology in the classroom, experience/interest in the active learning approach to teaching English and online courses
