• We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated BSc Nursing Tutor to join our academic team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to nursing students, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their nursing careers.
• The BSc Nursing Tutor will also engage in academic advising, curriculum development, and research… activities to enhance the nursing program.
Requirements
Instructional Duties:
• Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and seminars in nursing subjects, including but not limited to anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, nursing theories, and clinical practices.
• Develop and implement instructional materials, including lesson plans, handouts, and online resources.
• Assess and evaluate students’ progress through exams, quizzes, assignments, and practical demonstrations.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and support their academic and professional development.
Curriculum Development:
• Collaborate with other faculty members to develop, review, and update the nursing curriculum and course content.
• Integrate current best practices, research findings, and advancements in nursing into the curriculum.
Academic Advising:
• Offer academic and career advice to students, including guidance on clinical placements, research projects, and career planning.
• Address student inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Administrative Duties:
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and grades.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to institutional committees as required.
• Ensure compliance with academic policies and accreditation standards.
