We are seeking an Education Coordinator for our adolescent-specific behavioral and addiction healthcare facilities. This role is essential in bridging the gap between enrolled clients, their families, and school districts.
Position Overview…
As an Education Coordinator, you will ensure clients can attend school remotely using compliant teleconferencing platforms. You will also facilitate 1-2 educational groups weekly, document client progress, and provide light tutoring. Familiarity with core curriculum from elementary to high school across multiple states is crucial.

Job Type: Full-time, hourly
Location: In-person at our residential facilities in Fallbrook, CA
Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00 /hour
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, 1 year of experience in an educational environment.
Preferred: Master’s degree in education or a related field with a teaching credential. 2-3 years of experience in an educational environment.
Understanding of adolescent mental health and addiction issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and de-escalation skills.
Proficient with Electronic Health Records, GSuite, and collaborative documents.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, make independent decisions, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Must pass a state-approved criminal background check and ADP Selective Screening Services background check prior to hire.
Responsibilities
Track and maintain metrics on attendance, reach, and program effectiveness.
Develop educational skills for clients.
Monitor clients’ online activities and appropriate use of technology.
Ensure all educational programs align with client needs and organizational values.
Document client progress in electronic health records.
Monitor compliance with remote learning contracts.
Supervise students during classes and programs, ensuring safety.
Provide feedback on clients’ educational progress during clinical sessions.
Adapt the learning environment based on individual client needs.
Facilitate educational groups based on client needs.
