In this role, you’ll inspire and engage students, deliver interactive and effective lessons, and help them achieve academic success in mathematics.
Key Responsibilities…
Create and deliver engaging virtual math lessons that meet 8th-grade curriculum standards.
Utilize online teaching tools to foster active learning and student participation.
Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams.
Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and their families.
Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum materials and teaching methods.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education (Master’s preferred).
Valid Illinois math teaching certification.
2+ years of experience teaching 8th grade math.
Experience with virtual teaching is a plus.
