About The Role
As a guitar instructor with us, you’ll have the opportunity to teach a diverse range of students from the comfort of your own home. Whether your students are absolute beginners or seasoned players, you’ll tailor your lessons to their individual goals and preferences. This is a remote contractor position with flexible hours, allowing you to balance teaching with your other commitments.
In addition to one-on-one lessons, you’ll have the chance to lead group courses on various musical topics. These courses provide students with the opportunity to deepen their understanding and appreciation of music while connecting with fellow learners.
Responsibilities
Conduct engaging online guitar lessons tailored to each student’s goals and learning style.
Provide ongoing support and encouragement to help students make progress between lessons.
Maintain a high level of student retention by fostering positive relationships and effective communication.
Optional: Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills in technology, studio management, and pedagogy.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience teaching guitar at all skill levels.
Proficiency in reading music and tablature.
Experience teaching guitar in a virtual setting.
Versatility in various guitar styles, including rock, pop, jazz, folk, or country.
Strong empathy and understanding of the student journey.
Reliable high-speed internet connection and familiarity with online teaching technology.
