### Skills

### Responsibilities
– Teach a diverse range of instruments including but not limited to:
– Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass
– Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon
– Saxophone, Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba
– Conduct inclusive lessons accommodating various skill levels, including online instruction.
– Develop engaging lesson plans and learning objectives that align with course requirements.
– Assess student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback.
– Prepare students for final jury examinations and participate in jury panel evaluations.
– Order instructional materials and submit required documentation promptly.
– Incorporate career pathway connections into teaching methods.
– Direct students to appropriate campus resources.

### Qualifications
#### Minimum Qualifications
– Master’s degree in Music or equivalent professional experience
– Knowledge and experience in teaching music at the post-secondary level
– Strong oral and written communication skills
– Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse student groups and colleagues

#### Preferred Qualifications
– Master’s degree in Music from an accredited institution
– Two to three years of documented experience teaching music at the collegiate level
– Proven excellence in a collegiate teaching environment
