Role Overview: As an In-Person SAT/ACT and AP Tutor at Next Level Tutors, you will work closely with high school students at our Encino… office, preparing them for success in their SAT, ACT, and AP exams. You will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on students’ academic journeys by providing personalized tutoring sessions and equipping them with essential test-taking strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions with students preparing for SAT, ACT, and AP exams.
• Develop tailored study plans based on students’ individual needs and learning styles.
• Teach subject-specific content, test-taking strategies, and time management skills relevant to SAT, ACT, and AP exams.
• Administer practice tests and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide ongoing feedback and support to enhance students’ confidence and academic performance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, English, or related field.
• Proven experience as a tutor specializing in SAT, ACT, and AP exam preparation.
• Deep knowledge of the content and format of SAT, ACT, and AP exams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts effectively.
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Teaching credential or certification.
• Experience with educational technology and online learning platforms.
• Flexibility to accommodate evening and weekend tutoring sessions as needed.
