Responsibilities:
• Provide virtual instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, utilizing effective teaching strategies and techniques.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
• Conduct assessments and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student interactions and progress.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Deaf Education, Special Education, or related field.
• Kentucky state teaching certification in Deaf Education or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Experience working with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field.
• Previous experience with teletherapy or online instruction.
• Familiarity with educational technology and virtual learning platforms.
