Job Description:
We are looking for an engaging and dynamic tutor to support an Israeli family with 3 students who are currently homeschooled. The students’ ages are 3, 5, and 8. The tutor will be in charge of supporting the students in core subject areas and implementing Montessori methods and strategies or other key methodology. The tutor should also speak a second language besides English and be able to teach that second language.
The ideal candidate will live in or near Atlanta, Georgia, and be willing travel to the family’s home. The family travels a few times per year when they will not need tutoring support. Their trips may be as short as a couple of weeks or as long as a couple of months.
We are looking for someone who has a ‘nack’ for teaching and also interests in various areas. We value talent over experience.
Responsibilities of the teacher:
• Provide instruction for 4-6 hours Monday-Friday year round
• Create structured lesson plans and activities
• Be able to create differentiated lessons when necessary
• Track the progress of the students
• Be flexible with the children and their studies
Requirements:
• Experience working with children in some capacity
• Comfortable following curriculum and tutoring all core subject areas
• Familiar with Montessori (or willing to learn)
• Can create engaging and dynamic student-centered lessons
• Can identify areas of improvement and create learning plans based on this
• Speak a second language besides English and be able to teach this language
• Be open-minded and culturally aware
• Flexible and adaptable
• Live in or near Atlanta, Georgia OR relocating to this area soon

Compensation:
• $35-60 per hour
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 – $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
