Our middle school complex is urgently seeking a Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team for a short-term assignment with the possibility of extension.
What You Need:
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Special Education
• Active Special Education Teaching Certification in Pennsylvania
• Experience with middle school students and complex learning needs preferred
Details about the position:
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday to Friday (with potential for full-day hours if needed)
• Start Date: 08/19/2024
• End Date: Mid-October (6-8 weeks)
• Duties:
• Work with middle school students with complex learning needs
• Implement and manage individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide virtual instruction and support to students to help them meet educational goals
• Engage in ongoing communication with parents, staff, and other stakeholders
