Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with a team to create and implement effective teaching strategies.
Develop and deliver engaging, student-centered curriculum tailored to the individual needs of the student.
Create a positive and dynamic learning environment that encourages student growth and curiosity.
Design lesson plans and instructional materials that integrate hands-on, project-based learning activities.
Use a variety of educational techniques and assessment methods to track and support student progress.
Provide weekly updates on the student’s progress and conduct periodic assessments.
Support the student’s social and emotional development, boosting their self-esteem and confidence.
Work closely with other educators and team members to enhance the overall learning experience.

Required Skills
Strong understanding of Mandarin language and cultural nuances.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
Familiarity with educational best practices and technology tools.
Patience and empathy when working with students who may face learning challenges.
Strong organizational abilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
At least 4 years of experience as a classroom teacher or private Mandarin tutor.
Teaching Credential (preferred But Not Required).
Must be located in the Atherton, CA area.
