Job Description
JOB TITLE: District – TEMP Worker WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Hourly
REPORTS TO: Department/Campus Supervisor PAY GRADE: Temp
DAYS EMPLOYED: Per Schedule
DEPT/SCHOOL: Varies DATE REVISED: September 2020
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assist department or campuses as designated.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Assist campus or department with assigned duties such as student support, clerical support or program support
2. Perform other duties as assigned by the department or campus supervisor
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None
EQUIPMENT USED:
Phone systems, computer, copy/scanning machines, digital peripherals, electronic hand-held devices
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands:
Reading; ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written); ability to operate and learn new technology systems; flexibility; patience; work under stress, meet required timelines
Physical Demands/Environment Factors:
Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer; lift computer/printer equipment and transport from one place to another; lift computer paper; student support (based on assignment)
Other:
Work as a team member with personnel and management; professional demeanor, resourcefulness, communicate effectively with diverse groups and accept supervision; punctual attendance at the workplace; must have his/her own transportation.
REMOTE LEARNING:
If needed, be available by phone, email, or video conferencing during indicated work hours (confirm expected work hours with campus administration) to confer with district personnel, students, and/or parents. The rest of the workday is committed to planning, preparing, implementing, and providing support to campus teachers, as instructed by administration. [Administrator directed]
