In this role, you’ll be guiding students who are pursuing their Associate Degree in Firearms Technology. You’ll leverage your educational and professional background to facilitate engaging and informative online courses. Your contribution will be key to creating an exceptional learning experience for our students as they advance through their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities
Teach and support students in an asynchronous online environment, maintaining regular academic interaction through discussions, guidance, and feedback.
Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments to help students achieve their academic goals.
Offer support via email, phone, and within the Learning Management System.
Create a positive and engaging virtual classroom atmosphere that encourages active student participation.
Adhere to professional standards by meeting deadlines, respecting schedules, and coordinating resources effectively.
Keep accurate records and maintain organized documentation.
Collaborate with fellow faculty members to enhance the overall instructional environment.
Contribute to the development of curricular materials as needed.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Physical Science or a related field; alternatively, a Master’s degree in any area with 18 graduate-level credits in Physical Science or a related field.
At least three years of experience teaching college-level Physical Science courses in an online setting.
