Position Overview
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and personable online math teachers for grades 3rd through 6th to join our team immediately. As an integral part of our mission, you will inspire a love for mathematics and deliver dynamic lessons using creative instructional strategies that go beyond traditional methods.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and conduct engaging math lessons for grades 3-6 using interactive activities and educational games.
Adapt lessons in real-time to ensure comprehensive understanding among students.
Employ mnemonic devices, strategies, and modeling techniques to simplify complex mathematical concepts.
Foster a positive and interactive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth.
Develop personalized learning plans to address diverse student needs effectively.
Create, grade, and administer assignments and assessments to gauge student learning.
Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance learning outcomes.
Stay updated on educational technology and teaching methodologies to enhance instructional effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or Elementary Education.
Valid teaching license or certification in Mathematics or Elementary Education.
Proven experience teaching math to elementary students (grades 3-6), preferably in an online setting.
Proficiency in Zoom and Google Classroom for online instruction.
Strong grasp of various teaching strategies to simplify mathematical concepts effectively.
Excellent communication skills and ability to inspire students’ passion for learning.
Patient and responsive with the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles.
Preferred Skills
Experience in creating educational games and interactive activities for math instruction.
Familiarity with different modeling strategies to explain mathematical concepts effectively.
Ability to conduct engaging live online classes.
