Duties:
– Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives
– Provide engaging and interactive English language instruction to students
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
– Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
– Foster a love for learning and promote student engagement
– Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure effective delivery of instruction
– Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
– Certification in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) or equivalent
– Experience working with students in a classroom setting, preferably in ESL or language education
– Knowledge of second language acquisition theories and teaching methodologies
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
– Familiarity with technology tools for instructional purposes
Preferred Skills:
– Experience working with children or in childcare settings
– Knowledge of preschool literacy education
– Experience teaching adults in an ESL or adult language education context
– Classroom management skills
