Part-time Forensic Science Instructor (Adjuncts): Crime Scene Investigation

Details: The Department of Chemistry at Bowling Green State University (https://www.bgsu.edu/arts-and-sciences/chemistry.html) seeks strong applicants for a part-time teaching assignment in support of the BGSU Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science Degree Program for Spring 2025. 

Qualifications: Successful applicants will teach introductory courses, as well as upper-division topical courses as… needed. Starting date is Spring 2025.  A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a forensic science discipline and a minimum of 5 years of experience in one of the following areas: crime scene investigation.

Crime scene

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in forensic or other physical science and a minimum of 5 years work experience in the crime scene unit of an accredited crime laboratory. Work experience shall include court room testimony. The qualified candidate shall have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of evidence collection, terminology, detection, recovery, photography, preservation, enhancement, analysis, comparison, documentation and reporting of crime scene evidence.
