What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Assist Teaching Faculty in organizing coursework for Biology courses
– Explain biology concepts to students effectively
– Conduct office hours and review sessions for students
– Provide support to Course SC120N
– Submit applications electronically and complete the online application form
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Must be a full-time registered Penn State student
– Successful completion of the course for which assistance is provided
– Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant in a related field
– Familiarity with educational and institutional diversity initiatives
