JOB SUMMARY
The Statewide Online Learning Specialist serves as the primary contact for the Classroom Ready program throughout the state of Indiana. Classroom Ready is a 13-week professional development onboarding program for educators early childhood classrooms. The Specialist will implement and oversee the program curriculum and create a supportive learning environment alongside the… participants’ success team (school administration and cooperative teacher).
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Supports success teams by providing initial training, on-going support and communication pathways to ensure cooperative teacher and participant development
• Collaborates with school administration to determine onsite cooperative teacher(s)
• Implements orientation kickoff for each Classroom Ready cohort
• Monitors participant progress on assigned weekly modules in the program’s learning management software called myClass
• Confirms with school leadership that completed classroom observation and training hours meet program requirements
• Conducts 1:1 meetings with participants regarding program outcomes and supporting their individual development through the program
• Completes routine maintenance and troubleshooting for myClass modules and assignments while continually collecting feedback from participants for further improvements
• Hosts collaborative cohort meetings throughout the program cycle
• Develops professional relationships with educational partners around the state enrolled in Classroom Ready
• Establish policies for statewide implementation of Classroom Ready in partnership with the Director of Educator Solutions and Early Learning Indiana leadership
• Collaborates with Early Learning Indiana Educator Solutions team to revise current programming and consider new professional opportunities
• Other duties as assigned to advance the mission of Early Learning Indiana
