As an AI Tutor – STEM Specialist, you will be crucial in enhancing AI systems through your insights and precise annotations, thereby aiding in the training and optimization of new models. Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality input and labels for designated projects utilizing proprietary software to ensure precise data for AI training.
• Collaborate with the technical team to actively contribute to the training and advancement of new AI tasks and technologies.
• Assist in enhancing annotation tools to improve the efficiency of the data curation process.
• Select and tackle intricate problems within STEM areas such as advanced mathematics, physics, or computer science to support improved model performance.
• Interpret, analyze, and execute tasks based on dynamically evolving instructions, demonstrating adaptability to project changes.
Required Skills
• Strong communication skills in both informal and professional English.
• Proficient research capabilities with an ability to navigate diverse information resources and databases efficiently.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational abilities, enabling effective independent work and informed decision-making with limited data.
• A fervent commitment to advancing technology and fostering innovation.
Qualifications
• A validated IMO medalist (or equivalent competition laureate) or possess a Master’s or PhD in a STEM-related field (Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.).
• Prior engagement in research, including at least one publication in a prestigious journal or outlet is preferred.
• Experience in AI tutoring or similar roles is advantageous.
• A background in teaching, whether as a professor, educator, or tutor, is desirable.
• Experience in technical writing, journalism, or other professional writing contexts is welcomed.

Compensation And Benefits
• Pay: (35/hr – )65/hr, determined by experience, education, and skill set.
• Benefits: Full-time roles are eligible for medical insurance and various benefits, which vary by country. Part-time roles do not include benefits.
Location & Hours
• This is a fully remote opportunity.
• Part-Time (20-29 hours/week): Flexible hours with a commitment of at least 20 hours weekly, including 10 hours during weekdays.
• Full-Time (40 hours/week): Ideal working hours are 9 AM to 5:30 PM in your local time zone, with flexibility available.
