Key Responsibilities
Support Classroom Environment: Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to cultivate a serene and effective classroom atmosphere, supervising students and engaging with them in individualized or small group settings as directed.
Assist with Daily Routines: Work in partnership with the Lead Teacher to establish and uphold routines during critical transition periods, such as meals, recess, and nap time.
Encourage Positive Behaviors: Engage with students at their level to promote their behavioral development with respect and firmness.
Address Physical Needs: Support children in meeting their physical requirements, including bathroom escorts and assistance with clothing changes when necessary.
Observe and Provide Feedback: Monitor student interactions and activities, sharing your insights with the teaching team to enhance the educational experience.
Exemplify Core Values: Model integrity, curiosity, responsibility, creativity, and respect for diversity in all interactions.
Collaborate with Colleagues: Contribute to a joyful and respectful school climate, undertaking additional duties as needed.

Qualifications
Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
High School Diploma or equivalent
Negative TB Test
Eligibility to work in the U.S. (E-Verify)
Successful background check
Minimum age of 18 years
At least 2 years of experience in child-focused roles
CPR/First Aid Certification
Preferred: Experience in a Montessori setting
