Remote Special Education Teacher – South Carolina
Role Overview…
We are looking for a dedicated Remote Special Education Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. This role offers the flexibility of working from home and requires a valid South Carolina Special Education license.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized and group instruction to students with special needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
• Utilize digital tools and platforms to enhance virtual learning and engagement.
• Assess and track student progress, making necessary adjustments to instruction.
Qualifications:
• Valid South Carolina Special Education license.
• Degree in Special Education (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Prior experience in special education; experience with virtual teaching is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively manage a remote classroom environment.
• Proficiency with online teaching tools and educational technology.
