Position Overview
You will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our nursing students. This position involves planning and delivering engaging classroom and skills lab instruction, ensuring students gain the knowledge and skills required for success in the healthcare field. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing to support our students’ academic growth and… professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Teach and implement the assigned curriculum, following guidelines from the Director of Nursing.
Serve as a professional role model for students, demonstrating excellence in nursing practice.
Develop and deliver theoretical and practical lessons to achieve course learning outcomes.
Hold office hours for student consultations and support.
Evaluate and assess student performance through quizzes, exams, and other assessments.
Provide academic advising and support to help students succeed.
Prepare, administer, and grade exams and assignments.
Create and implement detailed lesson plans using a variety of teaching methods.
Organize and oversee student activities in both classroom and clinical settings.
Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and other relevant metrics.
Contribute to instructional improvement and curriculum development.
Prepare study guides and assist in preparing materials for accreditation.
Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment.
Engage in regular meetings with the Director of Nursing or their designee.
Promote the efficient use of educational resources and equipment.
Participate in the development of innovative teaching methods and materials.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Strong writing and verbal communication abilities.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least two years of recent experience as a licensed nurse, or
Associate’s degree with a minimum of six years of recent experience as a licensed nurse.
Current valid California license as a registered nurse or licensed vocational nurse.
Completion or enrollment in advanced educational courses related to teaching.
Compensation
LVN: $45 per hour
RN with Bachelor’s: $50 per hour
RN with Master’s: $55 per hour
