A company is looking for a Remote Async Writing Tutor (Seasonal).
Key Responsibilities…
• Provide essay reviews and synchronous tutoring to help students become better writers
• Offer thorough and actionable feedback on student writing assignments
• Review a variety of writing genres and subjects, including controversial topics
Required Qualifications:
• 1+ year of college/university Writing Center tutoring experience
• 3.5 GPA or higher in a writing intensive program
• Familiarity with tutoring methodology and the Socratic method
• Comfortable with asynchronous and synchronous tutoring
• Access to necessary technology and commitment to 25 hours per week during surge periods
