Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction in English language and literature to students. You will play a key role in fostering a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking among our students. Responsibilities: – Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards – Teach students various aspects of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills – Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration – Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of evaluation – Provide timely feedback to students on their work to promote growth and improvement – Utilize instructional technology and resources to enhance learning experiences – Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum… materials – Provide academic advising and support to students as needed – Stay updated on current trends and best practices in English education Experience: – Bachelor’s degree in English or related field (Master’s degree preferred) – Previous experience teaching English at the secondary or post-secondary level – Strong knowledge of English language, literature, and composition – Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – Ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons – Familiarity with instructional design principles and curriculum development – Experience with mentoring or providing academic support to students – Passion for literacy education and promoting a love for reading We offer competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience.
