Position Overview: As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the educational growth and development of students with diverse learning needs in a virtual setting. You’ll collaborate with educators, parents, and students to create an inclusive and supportive online learning environment. Your expertise in special education will be instrumental in tailoring instruction to meet each student’s unique requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide virtual instruction to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring access to a high-quality education.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and adapted curriculum for online learning.
• Offer targeted support and accommodations to help students succeed in the virtual classroom.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention plans.
• Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support their child’s educational journey.
• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in special education and online instruction.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education.
• Special Education teaching licensure- IDAHO
• Experience in virtual instruction or a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students with diverse needs succeed.
• The ability to create an inclusive and supportive online learning environment.
