C E Mitchell Tutoring Services is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized tutoring services to students of all ages. We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Secondary Math Instructors to join our team.
Job Description:
We are looking for dynamic and knowledgeable Secondary Math Instructors to provide individualized and group tutoring sessions to middle and high school students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a proven track record of helping students achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in mathematics, including but not limited to Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.
• Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style and needs.
• Track and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
• Prepare students for standardized tests, such as the SAT, ACT, and other state assessments.
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for mathematics.
• Stay current with educational best practices and curriculum developments in mathematics.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field preferred.
• Teaching certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching or tutoring secondary-level mathematics.
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and ability to teach them in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
