Position Details:
• Location: Olympia, WA

• School Year: 2024-2025
• Grade Levels: Varies based on school assignment
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor and assess students’ progress, adjusting instruction as necessary to meet IEP goals.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
Qualifications:
• Valid Washington State teaching certification in Special Education.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with physical, emotional, and learning disabilities.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
