As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities…
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on students’ specific needs and goals.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in a variety of settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to create inclusive classroom environments.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on student performance and IEP goals.
Requirements:
• Valid New Hampshire Special Education Teacher license.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and students.
• Knowledge of local and state educational policies and regulations.
